Hi. 
Just a quick blog post to say I'm still around and hard at work on ponefics. Just... not any I'm currently publishing.
I hope I can post the short-ish story that I started on my holiday break soon! It's been through one rewrite but it's still not ready yet. Perhaps after this second round... One of the characters is just too shallow atm but I'm pretty sure I know how to fix her. One more round of "plusing" and perhaps it'll be ready to release into the wild. I enjoy editing but it doesn't have quite the same thrill as pantsing a dozen chapters in a sleep-deprived rush. 
I've also been poking at a silly comedy that's been half-written and lurking on the back burner for over a year. The first draft is nearly finished. I know the ending finally, just have to get the vast cast all in the same room so they can do their thing and get to the last punchline.
Catch Me's next chapter is proving difficult, so I'm avoiding it for now, letting my subconscious gnaw on the thorny bits. Writing character conflicts is unpleasant. I avoid conflict and argument as much as possible irl and I don't like putting my characters through it. But... it kinda makes sense for it to happen at this point in the story.
DwY is still on my To Do List, but it's a looooooong list.
On a more a positive non-writerly note: I'm finally upgrading my cell phone and more importantly my cell provider too. Getting kind of sick of the super limited coverage I had for years & that the current Google apps won't even run on my tired old Moto G.
Income is good.
I'm almost debt-free for the first time in a decade.
Just wish I had more time to write!
