Almost One Month Into the New Year! · 2:44pm Jan 23rd, 2019
Greetings all! I know it's been a while. As I had predicted, work had me busy with OT during most of December. And now that January has arrived, there's more OT. Work thought a fitting birthday gift would be three weeks of overtime. Not to say I can't use the money, but whew, a challenge after all I worked in November and December. lol. I did take a week off the second week of January, but that backfired when I caught that lovely head cold that's been making its rounds. I've had it for nearly three weeks now. It's starting to clear up. XD Some times all you can do is laugh at the hand life deals you. 
Sadly, in all this my pony stories have suffered the most. I'm still working on my other non-pony project. And I would have had a better chance to work on more of my pony stories, but in early December, my kindle died, so I had no way to work on my pony stories during breaks at work. Now that I was able to get another, I can start looking over my stories at work. It was just the height of Irony I guess. My Kindle had been working fine, that was until I thought I should stop gambling with its safety and install protection software. Big mistake. I went from nearly two years of mostly smooth running, to a glorified paperweight within two months of installing the protection software. I'll never make that mistake again.
But anyway, I was just kicking back after my first day of this three week ot marathon and thought, I haven't been on FIMfiction for a while, better pop on and say, "Hey!" to everyone!
I hope you all are doing well and had a joyful holiday season and a decent start to your new year. Despite getting sick, I still have plenty to be thankful for. There are still quite a few of you following me and bronies and pegasisters are still reading my stories. I know I'll get back to updating again. Just have to roll with punches.

Yeah, you’re right...
I have had a better year, you know aside from the 2 feet or more snow we had here... and can't forget the -15 degree weather that one day. Wonder how that snow storm was for you. As for me, I got through one of Anthony Bourdain's books, "Kitchen Confidential", I loved it. If you want a book that is so honest and pulls no punches about work and life in the kitchen of a restaurant then that is the book to read. It is funny and almost apologetic in tone. It reads pretty much like a confessional. I know you have a lot to do, so that is why I don't expect you to read it. But if you decide to, be prepared for a good read.
Aside from that, I saw Dragonball Super Broly at the theater and it was awesome!
