Coming Next Month · 10:00pm Jan 22nd, 2019
Hey, everyone. Been a while on my end, but I wanted to let you guys know what's up. Since I've been gone, I've been trying to develop an idea for the third part of the My Little Kirin series, and it took time. Yes, there was no concrete plans for a sequel other than "there's going to be a third story". Word of advice if you ever get into writing: If you want to make something a series, have an idea of what each part will be like before you start. It goes a long way.
That aside, I was quiet for a while due to some IRL incidents. Won't go into them for privacy reasons, but it was a rough last few months and I needed time to deal with them. Couple that with writer's block and burnout, and any progression with the story hit a standstill. FINALLY, I had a breakthrough a week ago and started work on it at last. It's being outlined right now, and writing work will start late this month at the very least. No telling when the first chapters will come out, but it shouldn't be much longer, aiming for next week.
The working title of the story is currently "The Lost Kirin Tribes", and it's set 16 years after How To Raise A Kirin. Kunzite and Moonstone are teenagers now; without giving much away, their special destinies will come into focus at this point. The title will be a hint, and it's going to be somewhat ambitious, on the level of Kiss of the Dark.
I'll give another update when I have a release date set in stone, and here's hoping you'll love what I have in store.
