First-- I FOUND MY COPY OF Good Apollo: Fear through the Eyes of Madness Volume 1 by COHEED AND CAMBRIA YES
Second--new story out. It's funny, 13K and it'll probably be one of my least viewed. But I'm proud of it. I like it a lot. I'm not sure how it'll go over with you guys, though. If you've read it, tell me what you think (if you didn't comment, or even if you did) Did you like the Raridash? I hope you did, because I'm planning something with that.
Ten stories! It's weird for me, having that many. Until this site I'd never really written anything that could be called a short story, and now I've written like 7 or so. That's a big thing for me. :D I'm really glad for all 94 of watchers I have and I'm glad for all the views I've gotten. It's been really fun and it's kind of been a bright spot in my life. Thank you guys.
Speaking of 100 watchers... I'm gonna get there eventually in all likelihood. If not from this story than from the next 1-2. What do you guys think I should do? 100 watchers is kind of a cool milestone, y'know. I should do something fun.

475267 Coheed is probably my real favorite band, even though Kansas will always hold that special place in my heart. Good Apollo is also my second favorite Coheed album. Ten Speed, Welcome Home, Wake Up, The Suffering, The Final Cut.... it is such a great album.

475536 There's not a Coheed album I dislike. I actually had Volume 2 as my first and I still like it. It's probs my least favorite, but I still love it. That opening two tracks... wow. Amazing. Black Rainbow... I actually like it more than a lot of people I've talked to. I think that their style is definitely moved well beyond post-hardcore and straight into alt-metal-yness at this point. GA2 was still trying to tap into those roots, but they just left it all behind for Black Rainbow. While I'm sad to see it go, I love songs like "Far" and "Pearl of the Stars" and the vocal work is always amazing.
Rainbow's guitar work I think is weaker than GA1 or SSTB, and it was disappointing to me. Some of it was great, but mixing obscured some of the coolest parts. GA2 had solid guitar work, but it was lacklustre. The singing however was stellar. Honestly, the first is my favorite, followed by GA1, a tie between GA2 and IKSSE, then Rainbow. Haven't heard the new one. BUT I WANT TO BADLY.

He's my hero, he really is. The Prize Fighter Inferno AND CO&Ca? He is amazing. Vocally distinct, a writer of amazing lyrics... his guitarwork is rather unique and brilliant. Wow I could just talk about him forever.
