Story Plug: Playing House · 7:33am Jan 8th, 2019
Warning: read the CW at the beginning in the Description because for those of you who feel like Featherfall gets dark, trust me, this might not be your cup our tea.
With that out of the way; holy shit this is a good story you guys. It deserves way more than the hundred and forty likes that it had. Do note that it is a sequel to a prior story called Through the Looking Glass, which was good but dragged a bit. Playing House on the other hand is, so far, a wonderfully fulfilling and heartbreaking story about Sunset and Fluttershy and their loving but deeply imperfect relationship. It is definitely darker and grittier and more 'realistic' but it also stays true to the shows themes of love and friendship, it keeps the light on in the darkness, and Sunset and Fluttershy are very well written and beautifully flawed.
You don't really need to read Looking Glass to read Playing House, though I would still recommend reading it, or at least the first half - dozen chapters to have a firm grasp of Playing House's AU premise.
Warning (again) as of current chapter things are real dark ya'll. Still, if it's up your alley go show this gem some love.
