Another Update About the Rewrite of N:RotD · 1:07am Jan 2nd, 2019
First of all, I managed to write ~1000 words so far. That's not much, but the progress is going slowly. I have to write well and remember what I need to write about so that the future plot doesn't conflict with anything. In any case, so far, I'm liking what I'm writing. I think the first rewritten chapter and the story overall will be up this week.
And I have some art for you as well! First of all, the picture I made of Andromalius was too small, so I upscaled it. And now, it has a second version, too.
I also made a new cover art. I wanted to use the symbol of Gating from the game itself, but unfortunately, the symbol seems to be the perfect example of Rule of Cool. The writing on it is gibberish, and only one of the four symbols surrounding it makes sense. I decided to give it my own meaning.
What do you guys think?
From the way it sounds you don't have any plans to rewrite the sequel? And if not does that mean the sequel is up to the standards your trying to reach with the rewrite? It doesn't really have any relevance to the story right now but I was curious about your thoughts on the sequel you had written in terms of its quality.
The rewrite sounds like it's gonna be good based on all the work you seem to be putting into it's new identity. Hearing that we could be getting our hands on a released story is neat, cover art looks nice and his ignited form looks fitting and formidable. Did you do all the artwork for this?

I think his aim is to make the beginning a bit less silly and make it more serious like the sequel. I think it's fine the way it is, but I can't really tell him what and what not to do lol
The logo, coverart is okay; if not cliche. But the lettering is hard to look at. Change the border to be thinner and color it to brick red (#cb4154) so it contrasts and flows into the black background, as opposed to trying to stand apart from it.
Light to dark, dark to light. Color is easy; don't go light to bright then dark, or vice versa.

Yep. Generally, I do all the artwork I can for my stories. I also include music sometimes. As for rewriting the sequel, I will just edit it a bit. It's not that bad, so it just needs some polishing.

Thanks for the advice! I'll see what I can do.
