So yeah, good news and bad news.
The good news is that I've gotten more done with Many Happy Reunions, and I'm still on track to release the next chapter on January 5th.
The bad news is that circumstances have thus far prevented me from finishing said next chapter. The little additional work I've gotten done on it since my last update was a tiny bit for the fourth chapter, and I mostly have it done because it was a repurposed chunk of what was originally going to be in the first chapter for A Mad Pony in a Box - long story short, that scene with Silver Spoon's dad was originally going to feature another character entirely, one who happens to actually be a canon character and whose inclusion would have meant a slight change to an event from the series. Feel free to guess, but all will eventually be revealed.
Anyway, I'm feeling a little more optimistic about getting it done over the course of the next week or so. I have four days off from work next week - three of them spanning Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day - so assuming things work out in my favor, I should be able to get that third chapter done, plus a little more besides. Having said this I've no doubt tempted fate, but we'll see, won't we?
