So, I've been in prison this past three weeks... · 1:27pm Dec 9th, 2018
... digging up dead guys. I also had to jump off a moving train. Can I get my "thug life" glasses now?
Okay, let me get more serious. I thought you might find it curious (especially since my work is the main reason - besides my laziness - that causes me to take such a long time to write new chapters); about two months ago, while doing some digging in a prison (or rather a "maison d'arrĂȘt" technically, a prison where you put people awaiting trial; though then again, there are people serving their sentences, so no idea why it's not called prison) in a town about an hour train ride from me, the builders found some skeletons. The medical jurisprudence had taken those, but after they were done, the builders and prison need an archaeological supervision in case there were more, so here comes me. And yeah, the very first day when they resumed work there were bones, the walls of the dig for the pipes had collapsed due to the rain revealing bones from three different skeletons, according to the anthropologist that was with me there one day. Buut that's been basically only the first two days, the rest had been pretty boring.
As for that jumping off a moving train part, the stupid train stopped for like 5 seconds when it was passing a smaller town where I had to check the digsite as well, I didn't even get the door opened by the time it started moving. Fortunately I did the next second, so it was still moving very slowly and I could have safely jump out. And yeah, I realize (now) that I should have pulled the emergency breaks.
So yeah, that's basically the most interesting bits from my work this past three weeks. Like I said, I thought you might find it interesting, and I sorta wanted to explain why I was so absent as of late here this time. And brag I suppose ;p
Okay, since I found making those blog posts far quicker than writing chapters and it gives my account some semblence of life (and its fun^^), I think I'll be making another one soon... maybe tomorrow, or day after. Watched a new show recently, and I feel like talking about it, recommending it for those of you who hadn't watched it and sharing my thoughts regarding it with those of you who had. No, not Terror, I feel like I talked about it enough on my last blog posts, also I don't feel competent enought to talk about a tv series that deals with something like the biggest catastrophy of arctic exploration (about 150 people lost and after 170 years we still don't know most of what had happened). What show am I talking about then? Well, you will have to wait an see, all I'll say for now that it is truly miraculous^^
See ya^^

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to post on social media pictures from inside prison (it's actually illegal to bring phone and camera there, the only reason why I get to bring my camera is because I need it for my job) and from acheological digsite both (without being allowed by person in charge, in this case my boss), but I'll see what I can do ;p
Sorry this is late, but good to hear from you, good luck out there!
