Hey everypony!
I know it’s been long since my last blogpost so I thought ‘Let’s do it!’. I’ve been busy with schoolwork lately & Christmas holidays don’t start until 14th of December or so. So I’ll just let you in the bits of what happened lately...
On the 5th of November, the members of the Reader’s Club had a ‘Meet & Greet’ event for the author visiting my school : Fuminori Nakamura. As I was a part of the Club, I too was invited to the event which was held at our Library. I missed all the classes after recess! He took a while to arrive at the venue as he was resting after a long journey. Fuminori Nakamura is a Japanese author of Crime fiction novels. I had never heard of him before, but it was exciting nonetheless. The only problem was that he didn’t know English. Fortunately for us, a translator had arrived with him & translated from Japanese to English & English to Japanese. Her accent was beautiful! After the Head Girl & the Head Boy of our school had finished their speeches, followed by our Principal, Vice Principal & Headmaster speaking a few words on the topic, we had a question & answer session. We asked him questions & he answered them, with a bit of a humor. Finally, we had a photo session with him. Me & my friend were right next to him for the photo shoot. It was a very exhilarating moment for us. We wanted to have his autograph but they weren’t allowing us to do so. It was a bit disheartening but we were ultimately fine with it.
Next thing you know, I had exams piling up! After exams, lots & lots of schoolwork.
And then I had published yet another chapter of Descendants. If you do read it, please toss out a comment! It’s nice to know that people actually read the chapter/story rather than just went through it.
