    Adulting is hard.

Buying a house is hard. Just saying that right now.

    So some minor improvements.

We have a new person at work, and they appear to be getting used to the job quite quickly. My phone, meanwhile, has been fixed, and I have gone to great effort to thank my current phone provider for having so much better customer service than my previous provider.

Househunting is still ongoing, but even that appears to be making some positive progress.

    I don't think it's getting better.

So the good news is that we have a new supervisor at my job. The bad news is that one, the new supervisor is sick with something and her doctors are failing to help her get better, and two, the job is taking its sweet time hiring anyone new. This coupled with various unforeseen factors led to last week being a pain in the hindquarters at work. Plus, my househunting isn't going well, and my phone

I think my job is trying to give me PTSD.

I was awoken by a phone call this morning. Work asked me to come in, as things were crazy. I did so, was there from around 9:30 AM to 6PM. Worked without a lunch break, I might add.

    The Moral Event Horizon.

Gonna discuss another trope today in relation to the Quiververse. In this case, it's the Moral Event Horizon. In simple terms, this is the point a character passes that forever marks them as EVIL and potentially irredeemable. TVTropes itself lists a few examples from FiM, and I won't repeat them here...though I will say that

Things are looking up. · 9:39pm Oct 26th, 2018

Well, ignoring the usual cowards and jerks, it appears that Many Happy Reunions is getting a good response so far. This, for obvious reasons, pleases me.

And what should please all of you, fine readers, is that work is well underway on the second chapter for the story and will likely be done well before the start of December. I have my fingers crossed that the third chapter will be done by then as well, but we'll see how things go.

Also, I'm taking this opportunity to announce that there will be another Vignette written, bringing the total up to fourteen. I've updated the numbering to reflect this.

There's a lot of good news here, I must say. ^_^

Definitely lifting my spirits at least.

You'll most likely be getting at least one more upvote once the story's finished; I have a policy of withholding any positive votes until a story is complete, but judging by how Many Happy Reunions is going right now, it'll earn one from me.

The progress on continuing is indeed welcome, but (and I know I've said this before, but it bears repeating) remember to not sacrifice your real life obligations for it. We're all more than willing to wait a bit longer if you end up needing to sort something out.

News of a new planned vignette is also welcome. Though this time, I think I won't be writing out a third round of speculating - not enough's changed since round two to make any real guesses as to what the remainder might be.

Looking forward to that. And don't worry, I'm more than mindful of real life obligations.

And yeah, holding off on speculation about what the vignettes will be is probably the wise course of action.

I know how I am going to pass a part of the time while waiting. Reread the Quiververse up to that point again. Its been about 2 months since I have read some of your writing and thus your verse. I went from your writing to RQK's "Reflections" to FO:E and then FO:E PH. Reading the first chapter I realized that I miss reading your style and verse. I'm going to enjoy refreshing myself on what happened. That said I also want to read all of the alternate verses connected to "Reflections." That however is going to take a while in of itself and with me waiting for the book of "Reflections" to be released I'm putting reading those stories on hold.

Sounds like a worthy endeavor. I hope that you enjoy it.
