I realized it's been a couple of weeks since I last posted anything about the actual work of creating fiction, so I just wanted to give everyone who's waiting with baited breath the good news that progress is being made. I've started bringing my laptop in to work again so I can write during my breaks, and that lets me hammer out a paragraph or five at least two times a day.
The current chapter I'm working on is one of those where I know pretty much exactly the story I want to tell, but little details are creeping in that are necessary but causing the work to grow with every addition. Also, it's surprisingly hard to explain Changeling economics in a paragraph or less. 
Of course, if you'd like to see me churning out even more (my personal record is three chapters in a single day, which means that with enough free time I can hammer out an entire novel's worth of fiction words in 1-2 months), then you can support me on my Patreon. We're about 1/11th the way to my first goal of $100 per month, which will allow me to get a few bills paid and not have to work so much overtime. The end result? I'll have more energy to work on fics (and more time) which will mean I can post a chapter per week.
