Flight of Firefly Part 11 at 7000 words and climbing... · 8:35pm Sep 24th, 2018

Tentatively titled "Retribution", it's on track for a September 30 release as only the trailing section of 2-3k words remains to be written. No teaser this time, as reading through it now, it feels like anything I could offer would be giving too much away. It's time for a parley and it's also time for Firefly and her entire command to decide as one what they're going to do in the face of an ultimatum and overwhelming gryphon force.

I'm going to renege slightly on my earlier blog and save at least one promised section for later so I can keep the focus on Epsilon where it belongs at this point. Nevertheless, expect a battle of wits if not arms in this chapter, and it's also time for Gavian to finally step up and assert himself for the first time in the story.

The story will be going out to prereaders in a day or two. Once the prereads are in, the chapter will be posted immediately whether it's September 30th or sooner--it’s time for the story to get its milestone 100th like! And after that? October will (fittingly) be spent writing chapters for Unleash the Magic - Nightmare Night.
