So I’ve haven’t been keeping up with MLP for a while now, never really cared for it and... other stuff (Got into School again and writing with Friends) So I’ve been going off of memory of the earlier shows and if I made it up to the later seasons I’ll just watch the shows for chapters.
Now... here’s my issue: MLP Season 8 Ep: 23: Sound of Sounds of Silence. It’s an episode that brought in the Kirin... Well, shoot.
This means Geyol, the Kirn Sorceress might be changing a bit... maybe... Kinda... I don’t know.

I agree. You can always redo the concept later on with the show version of Kirin. For now, you already have a developed Alternate Universe going, keep all of it.

Agreed, you don't have to concern yourself over that particular episode. Especially the canon's kirin appear to be more oriental inclined rather than western. Many fanfics out there already contain kirin and I bet most of them do not have kirin looking like that.
The word Krin, is the Chinese word for unicorn. You had been using an odd term any way. The Chinese unicorn, or krin is a horse or deer with a single antler in the center of their head. They have long serpent tails that are tuffed, and their legs from the hoof to about the knee is scaled.
To get around the issue of the episode breaking your lore, just put a note in the description saying this story is not taking into account that episode. Or was started before the episode was aired.

Yeah a krilin character i have planed is more designed similer to western dragons over asian dragons(western are the big bulky one with wings asian are more snake like with no wings)
