On internal paradoxes ...

So, I was reading beginnings of https://www.fimfiction.net/story/5170/project-sunflower and was unable to NOT compare this version of Equestria (where life is much more like current-dominating idea of life here on Earth - you must work and pay in money for basically anything) and Chatoyance's version of Equestria, where ponies can do ...a lot more, and thus share/give away a lot more. Paradox in ... I live by relatively small amount of money, and don't demand much. Yet more supercharged world of Chatoyance feels like my favourite. May be because ponies there can live without all this human stuff .. yet if they decide to build something - they build it, not wasting themselves in 'economics' or (human) 'politics'. Not sure ow much magic (=additional power to make things happen..) you need _minimally_ for this... In good climate and in absence of big dangers you probably can do a lot.. even if you are only earthponies. Also, speaking about TCB'verse as written by Chatoyance ....it will be interesting to try and imagine more smoothed down version of events [*** ], yet in the middle of story moving from usual "we are borg humanity and we will make you harmless (for our rule) part of us" (as it currently happening with nearly all initiatives) into more ..pony-favourite (and human-favourite) scenario... Like, when becoming pony will not fix everything in your body and mind, yet .. provides enough _additional_ stability and group-power to overcome things as they set-up today by usual humans.. and make _this_ state attractive. We know, internet meme-waves come and go, humans remain... very mixed bug with tons of shit in wrong heads. But what exactly we lack for overcoming this ..fate? Can community of humans be assembled from low-hier humans, and not just survive but continue and stabilize this new trend? Can real-world dolphins ponies help them, if one point of their living will be helping and NOT exploiting various others, full-knowing how attractive [and rationalized] it [exploitation] was in basically all other places? Sometimes being different is good thing.. you are not triggered by someone's else reaction, and this is true for other side... but same true for good side of things .....

I saw tons of (real? or just puffed up?) human-patriotism in comments, like humans are this and that, and generally great ... Problem is, even our definition and practice of 'rational thinking' (as opposed to earlier, less critical times ..or so we led to believe!) usually done by ..definitely not best humanists [de facto, not from their speeches] themselves, and thus our skewed psychological idea of what is right (authority, peers ..) continue itself for thousands of years...

We probably don't need to fear any 'super' AI, or most of pictured dangers - they all have their roots in our wrongly-set humanity, and thus 'battling' them individually w/o addressing root case of all those problems will gain little .. new humans will come, and do some stupiedly wrong things... Problem is, all this optimistic take on 'mass education' so far failed to produce significant/critical amount of humans, who can resist usual fallacies AND at the same time achieve something in world dominated by ..less than adequate humans (but powerful and supported by masses). Humans follow not those who behave closely to their supposed 'ideal', but..usual sort of 'leaders'. And those leaders usually have no wits to realize where they enter endless fail mode. And even if some realize - rest of fallen humans basically ensure single human or even small group will not change anything..in unusual direction. This is ..very unsettling idea to live with. More unsettling than any fantasy. because, yeah, for us it all reality. Human-created, but not human-controlled.

So, another paradox: I read those stories, even if I see no way how reading them can change anything....

* by low-hier humans I understand humans who are not interested in BOTH leader and sheep roles.
** by exploitation I mean not just usual exploitation, but also , say, demanding all time from someone's else, not accounting for existence of other friends of your friend.. and like this.
