I said the same thing when I first encountered Mykan. but then I started talking to both sides and I saw that Mykan was seeing his own view that he was right and everyone else was wrong. Yes some of those that he calls 'haters' are picking on him and hating him, but when it comes to Mykan, he is trying to get people not to defend him or be friends, but to down right Hate him or make them into people like him.
I have tried to see both sides, yet Mykan wanted me to see only HIS side. It was his idea for me to see both sides but he thought I would ignore everyone else and I talked to those 'haters' and found out many are not bullying him.
Also many people riff some fics and you don't see anyone gripping. Look at Fall of Equestria, you don't see Non_Creepy_Nickname calling others 'Jerklops' or threaten them into not writing anything.

Impersonating you hasn't happened since 2014. It was dealt with swiftly as soon as we knew it was happening, and if it happens again it'll result in more bans as soon as we are aware it's happened again. Until such time, quit bringing that incident up. It is not relevant to anything going on today.

Mykan has done a lot of stupid things and he's been banned from the site more than his fair share of times. PMing people with threats isn't cool. However, neither is piling into a blog post to circlejerk over how much you hate him, all the while taking zero steps to prevent the problem. If you block someone and he's creating alts or otherwise trying to circumvent the block, then that's actionable. But if you just throw up your hands and say "well, he'll just figure out how to get around it, I might as well not even try," then I'm going to throw up my hands and go "well, I guess if you're not willing to even try to solve the problem, it must not be that big of a problem."
Block him. Ignore him. If he circumvents it, file a report. Quit it with the blogs and the "wow Mykan sure is dumb, huh?" comment threads that contribute nothing to anything. When you constantly badmouth him like this, you make (some of) his comments about being targeted and harassed sound legitimate.

Mykan was banned for the Cherry incident and if he does that again, he'll get banned again. This isn't like that, though. If you don't even block the guy, if you can't be bothered to make one click to at least try and stop being "harassed," then it obviously isn't bothering you that much.

This whole comment you linked though is definitely pretty representative of this whole debacle, I'll give you that. Someone saying "stop replying, I'm done with you" multiple times because they're very clearly not done at all, actually. Silly namecalling reversals and "I'm not X, you're X, how could you even say I'm X when you're so clearly X and all of your comments are X!" Usually it's "I'm just trying to be civil here / you're not being civil, I'm civil! / How is any of this civil, you're the one escalating!" but this is close enough.
