It actually feels lately like I've been crawling out of a pit? So maybe there's a light ahead? But it's also blocked by Balatro lol somepony save me D:

The only other thing relevant to this blog is that I've had notes for a vs. post sitting in my notes document for probably the entire month now, what is wrong with me? D:

Fic recs, April 22nd: Jordan179 edition

Once again, though a good bit late, I bring it upon myself to memorialize an author via reviews of their stories. Though this time, it's different, as I had no connection to Jordan179 and only learned of his passing (three years ago this month, coincidentally), from this post

Another post about video games and Youtube and stuff

If I'm going to waste time watching shit on Youtube, the least I can do is tell people about it. :P

Ceave is a crazy Austrian with a love of video games and a head for philosophizing about them. Plus he really, really hates coins, no matter how tasty they may look.

Do you like video games? How about philosophy?

State of the Writer, July 2018 · 1:53pm Jul 31st, 2018

I forgot what year it was for a minute there. @_@

So July has been a month of getting nothing done. Of course, I say that, but the truth is I spent the whole month working on my SCP contest entry and did actually get that done, with a few days to spare. I have been using those few days to catch up on important shit like that blog I posted yesterday. Things can go back to normal here, now.

That said, my only pony writing has been a halfway-point on Tempest Poppins, which is on my to-do list to finish, but Iunno when that'll happen. I can only hope I haven't lost my stride with it, it was shaping up to be fun. It's odd that all the work I put into it happened at a convention. <.<

Other than that, nothing to announce. I'm starting an actual audiobook today (like, not just a longfic read by TTS), and after that I might try and get a few things done that I've promised to people over the years. We'll see. I guess that's it.

Aww, don't be sad, please.

Want a hug?

Sure! I was planning to invade Equestria and steal all its magic to force hugs, but this seems easier :P
