I missed my stream deadline but I have a good excuse! · 1:27am Jul 29th, 2018

First off, I missed my streaming time, that's entirely on me. I had thought I had allotted enough time to pursue something else this afternoon but it ended up taking twice as long as I expected. What is that thing you ask? Warhammer 40k just released an XCOM-esque game type called Killteam. Both my brother-in-law and myself are -very- excited about it. I picked up my Killteam starter box set just after noon and then spent the next seven hours pouring over the rule book and making teams to play, before finally building the figurine shown above. It's a Primaris Reiver but kitbashed to count as a Scout Sniper with a Camo Cloak. The cloak on the model hasn't been painted yet and is something I whipped up with athletic tape and part of a paper clip!

But enough about why I'm late.

TOMORROW. Tomorrow I will be streaming, on Twitch if possible. Late afternoon to the evening. I hope to see everyone there!

As someone who lacks any semblance of artistic talent, I always thought it fascinating how you guys manage to create and refine these figurines out of random household junk.

Aaaargh the entire upper body isn't in focus.:twilightangry2:

I'm going to assume you took the picture with a phone, because that is some fake depth of field right there. The focus of the lens seems to be hovering just in front of the figure.:duck:

But it still looks great!

Gasp are the new killteam rules out??
