Update For 7/24/2018 And Very Brief Godzilla Rant

Hey everyone! These blog posts have been quite rare from me, and have generally been in regards to progress being made on my writing. Most notably, progress on my current story, A Nightmare Come True. This blog will contain some updates regarding the story, but I'll also attempt to talk about something else as well. Since my current multi-chapter fic is starting to wind down, I'll mention possible upcoming stories (though at this point, nothing is set in stone in regards to what will come next).

First and foremost, A Nightmare Come True has been under progress for over a year now. That is so hard to believe. Time has truly swept on by, and so many hours have been poured into this story. The thing is, there's still more than a few hours left worth of writing to be done before I can finally be done with it. As I've mentioned elsewhere, I do want to eventually correct the misspelled names in the story. That is bugging me now, and is also why these last few chapters will have Applejack and Daybreaker spelled correctly. Speaking of chapters, Chapter 27 is well under way, with over 7,000 words to its name so far. I've still got a fair ways to go, and may look at breaking it into two chapters. I'm not certain I'll do that, but I'll see how things turn out. Unfortunately I can't provide a time estimate as to when it will be done. Life has gotten in the way with several things as of late, but I'm doing my best to work around it. :) That being said, once Chapter 27 is posted, I have two more chapters noted out for the story. If everything goes as planned, this story should end on Chapter 29. But time will tell if that is truly what will happen.

As for other news, I've got several story ideas I might explore after this one has been finished. I don't want to give any plots or details away as I'm still in the very early stages of brainstorming. I also don't have a clue as to when the next story would show up on this site. It's just too early to tell. What I will say is that I'm torn between doing a horror story involving Fluttershy, or doing a multi-chapter romance story. I have at least two ideas for romance fics, one being more dramatic involving a possible love triangle between Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack; and one being more comedic involving Applejack and Queen Chrysalis. I'm not sure that I'd be that talented with comedy, but I also don't want to write something overly dramatic as I'd like a bit of break from all the craziness that has been A Nightmare Come True (though I have loved this story so much). So we'll see what happens.

And on a completely random note, we finally got our first look at Godzilla King of the Monsters! I'm really excited for this movie, and cannot wait for it to arrive into theaters. I'm a huge Godzilla fan, and just the way the trailer was shot, gave us wonderful glimpses of Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah. The music in the trailer felt like it hearkened back to Twin Fairies from some of the Godzilla movies and their beautiful singing voices. I cannot wait! :D
