Status Update 1/19/18 · 11:41pm Jan 19th, 2018
Hello everyone and every-pony! It’s been a little over a month since my last blog post on this site, and decided I’d provide everyone with a brief update as to how things are moving along here. If anyone would have any questions, feel free to let me know. Also, since I’ve never been much of a blogger, feel free to suggest topics for me to write about in this little blog. I tend to just disappear out into the ether when working on my writing, and then no one really hears from me until the next chapter update (who knows, maybe it’s better that way too lol).
Anyway, I first would love to thank everyone for all of the support that I have received on this site. Nothing makes me happier than stopping by FimFiction and finding another person that has favorited a story, or left me a comment, or started following me. It certainly means a lot, and adds that much more incentive for me to post the next chapter or the next MLP story. I may be just a small pegasus in a big Equestria, but its these types of things that really make the stories worth writing. So, thank you all so much!
Speaking of stories, I might as well provide a brief update on the story, A Nightmare Come True. Chapter 17 is probably halfway (if not a little past) complete and I gotta say, I’m super excited to get that chapter out the door. On FimFiction, I started posting chapters to this story in December, but Chapter 1 was originally posted to fanfiction.net in May of 2017. I’ve been working on this story for quite a while. Chapter 17 though is one of those chapters that I’ve been looking forward to writing since before the first chapter of this story was posted. It will jumble things around in a rather big way, so I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks.
My other two one-shots were so much fun to write as well. The Hearth’s Warming tale feature Derpy was written all in one sitting for Christmas (The Wondrous Hearth’s Warming Story of Derpy Hooves). It was so much fun to write. The story, A Birthday Gift for Tempest was mainly in response to the MLP movie. I loved the character Tempest Shadow, and was easily the highlight of the movie for me. I knew after watching it that I’d have to do something with her. Hopefully in the future, I’ll be able to include her in more of my stories.
As far as other stories are concerned, I still have one more MLP story on fanfiction.net that I haven’t added over here yet. That was my very first attempt at an MLP story. It’s called, Fall Of A Rainbow and deals with the death of Rainbow Dash during a battle with an original villain. The story follows the characters and how they deal with their friend’s death, and how it almost destroys their friendship with each other (one in particular). I certainly plan on bringing that story over here soon. Maybe it’ll be something I do over the weekend. We shall see. I do though have a host of other story ideas that I’d love to work on. I have a romance fic for Valentine’s Day I’d like to do, though I’m doubtful that will be done in time. I also have so other wild ideas I may work on in-between chapters of A Nightmare Come True. We’ll see what happens there. 😊
