It happens, man. My stories—well, most of my stories anyway—get featured everytime I update. Especially The Ties that Bind and Those Left Behind. Don't know if you've seen it in the featured box before, but back when I was updating TTtB everyday, it was in the box... everyday.
Keep updating and you're bound to see your story in there often.
