Random Ramblings CCLXXXIX

IN WHICH I HAVE A CRISIS OF CONFIDENCE

That is a screenshot taken Wednesday of my Gdocs page showing almost every story on my plate. Spoilers ahead maybe.

So what IS all that crap? Well, from left to right, top to bottom, I have…

1. The story I wrote on the 4th about Orangeglow visiting Ponyville (COMPLETED)
2. A one-shot where Sunset Shimmer attends a therapy session (COMPLETED)
3. My rewrite of Anon-A-Miss (COMPLETED)
4. My 30k+-word historical adventure story (COMPLETED)
5. Sonata's second Burritoverse story (INCOMPLETE)
6. A Slice-Of-Life where EQG Rarity & AJ have a heart-to-heart (INCOMPLETE)
7. A shipfic (COMPLETED but needs much editing)
8. Octavia's Burritoverse story (INCOMPLETE)
9. Recovery for some reason (BEEN PUBLISHED; READERS HATED IT)

10. The first part of my Pinkamena fic (COMPLETED but needs rewriting)

The reason none of these have been published, even the completed stories, is because of a block on my end. Some of the stories aren't up to my personal standards. Some I feel could use a second pair of eyes maybe. And of course my brain wants to do things in a certain order and is willing to hold everything else back to do it. In this case, it's finishing Sonata's Burritoverse story. But I simply haven't had the drive to continue it since writing her internal monologue a couple days ago.

Why you poor schmucks my wonderful loyal followers stick with me, I still have no clue.

So… yeah. I could try writing again, but my heart isn't in it tonight, thus chances are anything I type that actually requires care and effort on my part will be crap. These blogposts do not require much effort.

Two Hundred Eighty-nine (not factoring out 31 Author Notes) word-barfs about nothing.
