Calm Wind

We writers do not speak. We do not hear. We have no songs. We have no pictures. We only have scripture. From words we bring images. From words we bring emotion. From words we bring life.

Chapter 156 update (7/5/2018): Getting back at it · 7:03pm Jul 5th, 2018

And then he gutters. Shortly after, High Winds fell asleep before her turn came up.

So between my last blog and this one i HAVE done some work on the chapter, but it has been slow and not very productive. But... i just had a 5-day weekend from saturday through yesterday and i purposely set it aside to give myself some time and space to relax and fully rejuvenate from the mind numbing experience i went through with the CFA. So now that that's passed, im feeling much better and im going to buckle down and start up work again per usual.

As always, im not going to put a timetable on this, but i've decided against breaking up what i have now with the rest of the chapter because i think a longer wait deserves a longer chapter.

Thank you for your patience, this has not been a particularly easy past couple of months for me, I really needed some time to rest.

That is really wise, many people become overwhelmed with work, then get frustrated and enter a crisis, then cancel all their projects, sometimes all you need is a little rest.

The tests were tough, it's only expected that you'd need a longer time to relax. Overloading yourself with work isn't very wise, so good job, kudos for you :rainbowwild:

It'll come out when it comes out, Windie. We'll still be here to read it when it does! (Well, I will!)

I don't know where that comic is from, but I'm hoping Scootaloo hands Soarin' a bowling beatdown the likes of which he's never imagined!

Not because I dislike Soarin. It's just, Scootaloo deserves a big win. Always!

Calm I'm always perplexed by these "thank you"-s content creators issue out when there is a delay about their content. Is there like a swarm of angry fans filling in your DM box every day demanding the new chapters or what? The facts are that you are producing free content for which you get no money so other than your passion for your hobby you really have no incentive to do anything. Neither do we have any right to demand anything. And even if you had a rigid schedule like one chapter every month (Which you don't) it would be incredibly entitled thing to complain about something that the readers really pay no money for.

At which point I really don't understand what is there to be thankful for? My best guest is our loyalty, following a content creator that scarcely produces anything is a tedious job indeed (and one I have not been doing well recently, I was quite open that I have absolutely no idea wtf is happening in like all but one storyline) but if we enjoy the story(line) why wouldn't we do that? It would be completely asinine to not do something you enjoy unless there is something more important to do.

Meh this turned into a bit of a rambling but still I'm interested why you feel the need to thank us anything. (And it's not just you, it's a much more widespread phenomenon)

In the meanwhile: You're welcome, I guess.

Decompressing is necessary, we all need to after stuff that drains us whether its physically, mentally or emotionally.

I'm just being polite. I often like to express my appreciation to my readers, it's a reflex. I guess, if you want a reason i can put my finger on, it's for NOT hassling me in between chapters. :derpytongue2:
