Two facts according to the internet. 1. Your mother is the largest object in the known universe. 2. Despite fact 1, everyone still slept with her for some reason.

A serious question. · 8:17pm Jun 10th, 2018

Okay, there is something I need to know.

Are people still reading my fics?

Why this question, you ask. Simple. Recently I have published three new chapters for an equal number of fics, yet the response I got to these chapters are... limited at best. Now, I'm not asking for a lot when I write and publish these stories of mine, but some feedback from you, the reader would be appreciated. It is, after all, one of the reasons for me to keep writing.

True, I did start this to improve my skill with the English language and the written word, but over the years these stories of mine have grown into something much more than just that, and are something I take a good measure of pride in. So to see something I put so much effort in go without any feedback or recognition in any shape or form is rather disappointing.

Now, yes, there are still some who left a comment, and it means a lot to me, but overall, the numbers of comments have dwindled to next to nothing. The latest update to Silver Spirit got just a single comment, while the newest chapter of my Side Trip fic received a comment from my editor commenting on the fact that no one commented.

Yes, really.

Though, eventually, some people did leave a response some time after the fact.

So, here I am asking this question: Are you still reading my stories?

This is important to me, just as these stories are important to me. I know I'm not the fastest when it comes to publishing new chapters, and that there are those who faved my work who have left the site as they moved on to peruse other interests and fandoms, but surely there are still people active and reading my fics on this site?

So, are you still there? And if so, why do you remain silent like that?

The only way one can grow is through the reflection presented by others; your strengths, your weaknesses, the good, the bad, and the ugly. So, I ask of you: Please leave a comment. It means a lot.

Personally, I've let your stories sit for a bit. I'm not as interested in them as I was when I started reading them so I've let them sit and build up chapters.

That is not to say that I won't catch up in the future, it's just the reason why I personally haven't been commenting.

I only read guilt of a phantom, are the other stories you wrote for it gonna be needed to understand somethings about the other characters like Sweetie's "Ghost" powers or no. Also I liked the start of the, I call it the Fenris Arc. well anyway I liked the start it kinda started to overstay it's welcome after so many annoying situation after situation and i was so thankful when I felt we finally going to a different plot that did not involve Fenris as the focus.

Silver Spirit is a side story to Guilt of a Phantom, detailing the events that turn Sweetie Belle into a spirit at first, but revealing more and more details of the world and its characters the further you progress. Certain events and/or details in GoaP probably can't be understand fully without SS' side of the story as they are strongly intertwined. The Baltimare Incident, on the other hand, is basically a prequel of sorts, detailing the events that happened after Danny accidentally 'created' the tears linking Earth and Equestria, allowing the ghosts to flood into and take over Baltimare, and how this affected the Main six, as well as many other characters.

i love Guilt of a Phantom cant wat for more

Slowly reading guilt of the phantom

While I'm one of those that did leave a comment for Guilt of a Phantom(I don't read your other stories), so my response may be slightly biased, but I can assure that I love your stories and it'd be as bad as when Mort Takes a Holiday went on permanent hiatus all those years ago if you stopped writing. I've read literally thousands of fanfics in the ten plus years I've been reading them, and in all that time I've favorited less than fifty of them. There have been plenty of stories that I liked and enjoyed, but for me to favorite a story, it can't just be good, it has to go above and beyond normal fics; it has to be original; it has to be just plain spectacular. Unfortunately, it seems your fic doesn't get anywhere near the recognition it deserves in this case, but I assure you, this your Guilt of a Phantom story ranks among the best stories this site has to offer(in my not so humble opinion) and if I have to personally write out a hundred reviews for each chapter to make you see that, I will.

=)

I read Guilt of a Phantom and Silver Spirit the second they both update. I don't really comment too much though. But I will see about rectifying that when the next update hits.

Love both of them though, and I can't wait for the next updates.

To be honest, I'm purposely letting SS sit at the moment. I sometimes binge a couple hundred thousand words in a row, and SS is one of like 3 stories I have on my binge docket.

As to GoaP itself, I will second that the current arc is kind of dragging. I think I commented, which I only really do so for stories I really like, and usually just reserve it for spelling errors.

Your story is like one of only 3 crossovers updating right now that I think are good, and the only one I read immediately rather than wait a week or so.

I can honestly say I love your phantom fics. I do tend to comment on only one of the two when the events reflect as they have recently tho...

But with this post I now know about your Freeman fic, and that is now on my list to read too.

I still read them. Every time I see you updated, I drop everything and read it immediately. Your stories are some of my favorites in this site, and I always eagerly await the next update. Sorry that it feels like not many people are reading it anymore, but you’ll always have a reader in me!

I will say this. I eagerly await any update of any kind.

I don't really comment unless I feel a need to but I can personally say i reread guilt of a phantom and silver spirit at every update. I'm waiting for baltimare to update as well but I always enjoy the latest chapter. I may just start commenting even if it's just ot say awesome chapter so you know people are reading.

I started reading guilt of a phantom awhile back and I found it pretty interesting but then I got about halfway through that whole Nightmare arc and just lost interest. The pacing just seemed to slow to a crawl and I found myself getting bored. I assume it gets better beyond that and I keep meaning to give it another shot but then I see the next chapter is over 30k+ words and it just never happens.

Dude your fics are great wort of the wait
Always wort of the time

Yeah am still reading I just haven’t had time to fully catch up on guilt yet.

I'm still reading, as for why I don't leave comments, unless I feel I have something additive to say, or some form of constructive feedback, it's better to hold my tongue. Then again, I have always been quiet unless given reason.

I still read your stories. I love how Danny is shown in Guilt of a Phantom.

I haven't had a chance to get caught up with Guilt yet but I am glad it is still going and now I have a bunch of chapters to read.

Well you could always try and post the story on other sites like Fanfiction.net and Archive of Our Own. Or to promote it you can ask someone to draw a scene from one of your stories and then post it on deviantArt with link to the story.

Also me taking a while to write a comment, well I've been busy with work which picks up during the summer plus I'm helping my sister with her kids (who are toddlers and are HAVE way too much energy) so having the free time and energy to think , read or even write it scarce from me right now. So far I've only managed to jot down some ideas and notes.

Although ONE thing you can do that MIGHT get more people reading/commenting is doing a poll about an event or character. Like pairings/possible love triangle or some getting a new power.

You know something that you can add/change in the story that won't alter the plot you have too much.

I still read them, I'v just been off this site for a bit waiting for the 14 stories I'm reading to catch up so I can bulk read. I shall check out your new chapters within the next week at latest.

Well if there was any CONSISTENT CHAPTERS like oh idk where the next guilt of a phantom chapter it has been 2 months in 2 days that no chapter has been updated but the SIDE STORY was??? And I see other stories as well that we're updated before guilt of a phantom so now you are spreading yourself thin into too many stories so now all stories will have inconsistent updates across the board which is a bad idea to begin with but people just HAVE TO PUBLISH IT INSTEAD OF WRITE IT DOWN and move along and finish their CURRENT PROJECT there serious question blunt AF answer cause I am not Willy Wonka I don't sugar coat it all
