It's been awhile since my last post and I am feeling better. I guess "least said. soonest mended". I think one of my problems is that I am depressed about being out of work. My severance package will be giving out soon and I still haven't found a job. I finally decided to go with a Temp agency. I shall see how that goes.
I have been working on my story: The Chaotic Three: a Zany Story. I've published some chapters since my lay-off and I'm pretty happy with them. I have also been reading some FanFics that are awesome! I have been reading some fics by Gabriel LaVedier (don't trust my spelling) and have become a HeartBurn shipper. (That's Little Strongheart and Braeburn) I think they make a cute couple. I loved it so much, I had to watch "Over A Barrel" again. I wish MLP would put out some more episodes with the Buffalo.
And today was the last day of school for Pinkie Wannabe. They had to go to school on Memorial Day this year to make up for the Big Freeze that crippled our area this past winter. In case you don't know, parts of the South had two solid weeks of below freezing temperatures this past winter. Water pipes busted all over town. Pinkie's school started back but then had to stay out the rest of the week because the frozen pipes had messed up the toilets. The place where I worked had water problems, too. They made us pee in Port-a-Potties! We literally froze our butts in those damn things! If I was a guy, I would have kept a Piss Jar under the desk.
Pinkie wanted me to say that she participated in the Talent Show at school this year. She sang "Firework". She looked so terrified when she got up there, I worried she might not be able to sing, but she did it! She's braver than I was at that age. She also tried out for Band and will be playing the drum next year! The Band director said she will also be learning how to play other percussion instruments-- including the piano!
