A Convention to Surpass EFNW... · 5:05am May 20th, 2018
Everfree Northwest, so they tell me, is a huge convention for brony writers, which made me very sad when I learned its schedule would not align with my own. Instead of feeling lonely and sad, I, along with a few fellow writers in the nearby area, decided to form our own convention this past Saturday so that we could share our sadness, write ponyfics, and generally agree that our tiny convention was waaaay better than Everfree.
From left to right, you have yours truly, followed by the illustrious Horizon, and last but not least, Caliaponia. A fine cast of dejected salt miners (just look at those sad faces).

I sincerely hope all the Everfree Northwesterners had a fantastic time at their convention, even if it wasn't quite the SadSac they all hoped it would be.

Here's hoping I'll have time to go after college and junk.
All things considered, a very successful convention. We completely filled our hotel room block of zero, and had to raise our attendance cap by 50% due to unexpectedly high demand. Multiple venues provided horse-themed decorations for us (did you get those pictures?) And don’t forget the .05 donated to our charity!
Glad you guys managed to have fun down there regardless.
But yes, hopefully we'll see you at EFNW next year. The con actually had increased attendance this year, which was cool to hear.
