This song that I've sung in church as a little kid for special Mother's Day programs is very appropriate for the character we're looking at (and even one of the pictures!):

Heh, yeah, here's to seeing how Flora bonds with her foals.
Bell Pepper may take after her dad in looks, but she's got a fair number of personality traits from her mom. Having had anger issues herself, Flora helps Bell manage her temper, and has taught her how to defend herself, in case she bumps into bad ponies.
Cucumber Melon likes to create concoctions (both in food and science) that she could sell. Flora is there for the fun of participating, the result of yummy fruit smoothies, and for any damage control.
Forest March loves going on hikes with his mother, since they're both nature lovers. You can bet that when the family's on vacation in some other wilderness, those two are gonna want to explore it.
As far as Marigold is concerned, flowers make her mother happy, and all flowers remind her of Mama anyway. As long as they're not from one of the neighbors' gardens, Flora loves it when Mari gives her a little bouquet.
Here we witness Ketchup being victim to an attack from the tickle monster. In this family, it's Mom who's the tickle monster, and she's got years of experience from teasing seven younger siblings with it (only Bananas could fight back successfully).
Okay, in all honesty, the assigned birthday for Curly Kale is actually in April. Still, this is Flora welcoming him into the world, and to the family, on the day he was born. Tomato should be bringing the other kids in any moment, but for now, it's just mother and baby.
And there you have it. Now, off to honor my mom and do stuff to celebrate.
Hrrch...! All the cute foals! My heart can't take it!
