I feel dirty saying this but I did chuckle at a couple of the jokes mainly the green lantern one
I'm honestly okay with Will Arnett voicing Slade because he was basically evil Batman (the guy even had a butler in season 1).
I gotta say the movie does look good (though I still won't see it in theaters) and it really helps show that when the writers actually give a crap and put some effort into the writing that Teen Titans Go! is capable of being a good show. Too bad it's popularity doesn't come from the quality of the show and instead from the fact that Cartoon Network just shoved it down everybody's throat.

i might just for the fact that the writers are trying to be funny and creative. the show showed that on a blue moon that they can pull off some good jokes and if the movie is them doing their best then i'll give it a try. but i still think that the show should be more like justice league action.

Although I agree with you on them trying harder on terms of writing. I try to keep in mind that this is a kids show and even if it pains me to say it and makes me feel crazy old when I think (This is what kids find funny these days?!) It is there own style and I commend them for sticking with it despite many many mmmmmaaaaannnny viewers voicing out otherwise.

Look, man, he got rid of that shitty kid with the stupid steak hair and all he asked for was that I put up a picture of him in every room in the house. My son thinks he's cool, the wife thinks it's nice, and the cat-plant loves staring at them.
