***SPOILERS*** Please Help Decide On Villian · 7:05pm Apr 23rd, 2018
I already know who the big bad villian is going to be, but I am having trouble deciding on their personality. After a few comments I debated Sombra, though I think I am still going to go with an original character. The problem I am having is kind of making a stumbling black as this will effect some parts of the story though not a large amount. Just enough that I need to figure this out soon as it will effect upcoming chapters.
Ok, the problem I am having is this...do I make this character a brooding, human hating psychopath who is usually pretty serious like this:
Keep in mind he won't truly care about any of his family really, this is just the best example I could think of.
Also, it may be a couple more days before I can get a new chapter out depending, I thought I would be able to work on it last night but wasn't able to and today and tomorrow is pretty busy looking, sorry.
Or do I make him an eccentric, somewhat funny human hating psychopath like this:
Again, this is the best example I could come up with and I would mold the character almost entirely off of Berg Kase from Gatachaman Crowds. The pink/reddish haired guy who can shapeshift. Either way the character will be a vampire and the father of three characters whom each have different mothers. I just don't like the clip for this one as it wasn't dubbed and it isn't subtitled, but I don't have a lot of time to find a better one, sorry.
I think a villain that cpuld be a "what you could have become" villain for sunset would work sunset when she first came to the human world was not the best person and did not have the best interaction of human she just found her light early on and never went evil
Tirek can be manipulative, deceitful and hungry for power.
Someone like Azula from the first Avatar series comes to mind. Cold, ruthless, and totally pragmatic... until you push her hot buttons, at which point she's a crazed, blood-maddened killing machine. The fact that she's really good at being either is what makes her effective. On top of that, the fact that you truly know she doesn't care about other people's lives other than how they're useful to her in that particular moment is what makes her terrifying. She doesn't have friends, although she probably thinks she does. She has tools, who she tries to cement to her through unbreakable bonds of loyalty and obedience. And when they break away, their disloyalty is like a slap in the face.
A what you could become like character seems somewhat interesting for Sunset since she was that exact type of character for Twilight. This is for reference from another comment, but what I would generally like to see myself is a villain that is extremely charismatic, someone that could offer help at any moment to the point where said help becomes necessity, so when it is most needed they pull away letting others rot away in a self made grave.
Of course from a story telling perspective on what you're going for it'd probably be easier and better to aim for something a bit more direct such as the disregarding parental figure that damns others to hell for such insolence. Complain, complain, complain, it's all those blasted creatures do, it has been too long since the slate has been wiped clean.

I actually thought of that, but it was way too close to what I wanted to do for the sequel if I make one. Sunset's human, or should I say vampire version would be like the first movie Sunset to the extreme. The villain for it would have very little if any light in herself for the plans I had for the sequel if it happens as the only person I had her care for was the person who is the villian if this part.

True, but not so sure he would work out as the father of the characters this character is to be.

That would be a good example of the more cold blooded and brooding, though not so brooding for this type. I do love her in the series though I always hoped she would be redeemable though never was. Though that is a good thing too as it made her a better villian.

That is kind of what I had planned for the sequel so was looking for a bit of a different type for this story. Azula is a good example of the one type I was looking at, though Berg Katze (I swear I thought it was Bird Katze but when I looked it up, this was the spelling) from Gatchman Crowds is a perfect example of the other one. I was even thinking of changing the ending I had planned just a little to make the same fate he suffered in Gatchman be what happens here. There is only one child he has any respect for and it is only because of what she did in the past. He is fully disgusted with her life choices and how she is so nice now. And nope, not Chrysalis as he hates her the most.
The Berg Katze type of villian I wanted to make charasmatic if I could pull it off, offering others power only to screw them over. Maybe even frame some people just to get a kick out of it. Either personality or version I go with does have big plans to change the world big time.
4846544 Truly fascinating, such a tale would have much to behold. Of course with such a villain there are many ways to execute it so I'm curious as to what you'd cook up if you plan on differing slightly to the initial example. I'm sure it'll be a wonderful read with all the thought being delved into it.
