Medusa?

Okay, so while I'm thinking more I could do for this Shattered series for you all, I actually had somewhat of an idea. We know the Sirens in this story are heavily influenced from Greek mythology (and just heavily influenced from Greek mythology in general) but what if we could bring in perhaps another person from Greek mythology? Why not... Medusa?

No we're not bringing in Medusa from the Percy Jackson movie. That Medusa was quite lame, to be honest. The one from the book however? I like her.

But she was an idea of a possible villain to use for the Shattered series, maybe bringing in some new villains for that area. Sunset and the Rainbooms are defeated, so I figured it'd be time to look for some more interesting villains. Medusa was first that came into my mind. And I thought of a bit more for her to do...

I think Medusa sounds like a very suitable villain for the series. Was she originally from Equestria too or is she from somewhere else?
