So, after some work here and there, the next story and the sequel to Spike Finds Love, How To Raise A Kirin In 12,371 Steps, is still looking like it will meet that April 2nd release date I was hoping for. Before I get it out, wanted to update on how things were going with it.
Much like Spike Finds Love, I'm hoping to upload the story with the first two chapters at launch. The second chapter just got polished, so that's likely gonna happen. That said, I'm not sure how the schedule for updates will look beyond that. Things with my personal life are...not fun right now, so it might be a little slow at first. My goal is to have the whole story finished by the end of June at the absolute latest, but if I can write as fast as I want to, it could be done before May is over. We'll have to wait and see. The kirin story doesn't have as many chapters in the outline as Spike Finds Love had, but the chapters are more complex. Without too much detail, there's like three ongoing story threads whereas my stories usually only have one. So that shall be interesting.
I just hope things go as well with this as I'm hoping for. I'm noticing changes here and there with my writing style, and hopefully they're for the best. You guys can be the judge of that. And, personally, it doesn't matter to me if this particular story is popular, just as long as it's not my least viewed story. That shouldn't be too difficult of a feat to reach.
