While you awesomeTM people have been waiting with patience for the next chapter of I Burn, how about taking a look at another idea I mentioned in a blog some time ago? An idea called Mirror Mirror, which has Displaced elements to it without actual displacement. For those who have noticed a trend, and for those who haven't, I will say that yes, I do have an idea for Red Like Roses, but I don't have one for From Shadows.
I will try to get the next chapter of I Burn out (or at least fully written) before my local Toys R Us closes. However, I might not get many opportunities to work on it since I'm really busy working at said Toys R Us for most of the week. Speaking of which, I would much rather prefer holiday traffic than what we have there now. As discounts get deeper and deeper, so too does the hole that most people's normal shopping behavior go into. Everyone swarms the store and the sales floor is a f
king mess. The worst of it is by the price checkers. When they see that the discount isn't what they wanted, they just leave the item right there.
I could continue the stories from work, and I want to continue telling them, but it's late and I need to get to sleep. I've got a busy day ahead of me.
If only it were that easy though.
I would be respectful of this time, people just doing it for jerk reasons
