New Story: Dead By Sunset · 5:15am Feb 25th, 2018
Okay so I know people might be a bit annoyed that I'm posting something new while King & Shy is still in progress but hear me out.
To be perfectly honest my muse for King & Shy has flown the coop, that's not to say I'm not still working on it but it's slow going and I often find myself deleting nearly as much as I am writing. With that being said: I'm neither cancelling King & Shy nor putting it on hiatus. It is still alive and well.
However, I have been reading a number of excellent Anon-A-Miss fics and playing a shameful amount of Dead By Daylight (trappy boi forever) and I've had this idea for a new story rattling around my brain for a long time. I've always considered Sunset Shimmer to be my favorite character and I've been wanting to write her for a while, and this is my opportunity, so I'll be providing you all with some content while I chip away at my King & Shy block and getting to write some fun horror and dark stuff.

Which stories inspired you? I've been seeing new fics of this subset popping up everywhere, and was wondering which ones spawned them.

I'e actually been a fan of the Anon-A-Miss stories for a while, but I never really had the urge to write one, obviously some insipiration came from Anon-A-Miss by Dainn, the OG, but also ones like Phoenix by Nyhall that recently finished and has a sequel being written was quite good. Tell Me Baby, by Gpizano, and all of the sequels from that series of short stories were also fantastic reads if you haven't checked them out.
But really, what inspired me to write this was less Anon-A-Miss and more Dead by Daylight itself; the 'Anon-A-Miss' story track just made the most sense to frame it in, especially since I love Sunset Shimmer as a character. Pinkie Pie would be a little gauche at this point, since the Cupcakes phase of the fandom has sort of long since faded, and none of the others reason made sense in context.
