6. If it looks and sounds like a duck, I won't paint it.

What I'm saying is, don't ask me to paint a "claimed" design too similar to an official one (e.g. a differently painted Sunset Shimmer or a Godzilla with a differently painted arm). That is just plagiarism and very unprofessional of you the client.

What I gave him he didn't like (in fact he just responded with "WTF" and improper grammar, but it's better that way on my part. From now on, this ground rule is absolute.

7. If you the client wishes to upload the art piece yourself, credit and promotion are absolutely mandatory.

Not many artists spend time and energy doing this for own health. Giving credit and linking back to me here or to my Deviantart profile will allow more clients to see what I've done in the past, take an interest, and therefore I could earn more money.

Anyway, I feel I'm ready to get commissions going. But keeping my time between this and school, I'm starting out with two open slots that may be filled on a first come, first serve basis, provided they give a lot of detail in the first place as per my ground rules.

Here is what I'm willing to do (might be changed based on opinion). These will be paid using Paypal; all patrons must be 18 or older. Inquiries over $40 dollars, I do require that you pay the first half up front and the second half upon completion.

Services and examples:

Headshot portrait: Might fluctuate by inquiry of a detailed background, but I do ask for base price of $12

Full Body:
Simple background: $15

Detailed Background + Pose: $20

Concept art: Might fluctuate based on the complexity of design and how far you wish for me to go (rough sketch, cleaned up lineart, colored, shaded etc.), but I do ask for a base price of $15.
