New Age is finished. · 12:15pm Feb 10th, 2018
It's finally over.
I've written the final chapter of Imbalanced: New Age. I know that by this point there are more people reading changelings than this one, and I'm sorry for that. The story is simply a failure. Too much stuff to write, too many thoughts and details which I wasn't able to condense enough to make the story gripping. Here's the difference between a real writer, and somebody who just writes stuff. Everyone can have ideas, maybe even put them in the right order, but only a real writer can make them fit together, pull the reader in, and not make them feel like a check list, just ticking off every needed situation. I'm just not good enough to put down what's in my head properly.
So here it is, the final story which was supposed to be better because of everything I've learned since I started, but in the end it's the worst one. Too long, too shallow, too... simply too much.
Over a year and a half of work, and all I want is to put it out of its misery. Well, from now on New Age will be updated weekly.
Congrats with solid ending for your best book up to date ).

Thank you. Let's see if you can say that again with straight face after the final chapter is up, you know, since there are 7 chapters left.

I have to agree with Lex4art I have been following your stories since I found them a few months ago and I absolutely love your story line and how it flows. I have quite literally read books and other stories that are published and promoted by bookstores and critiques and have not found them to be as engaging and likable as your story arc. Thank you for writing these even if you do not see them as your best works I find them to be stories worth being remembered and treasured.

I really wish I could share the optimism and compare New Age to, let's say, Hard Reset, the story which inspired me to try writing, but that would be straight up heresy.
