I just posted chapter 2 of Van Helsing. I wrote another blog when the story was first posted, encouraging people to read it, but it seems it didn't get many takers. Maybe this might sway you. I said already that each chapter pays homage to a different vampire story... well, chapter 2 is the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure chapter. Specifically, Phantom Blood. It contains Horse Dio, musical references, vampires, and Stands (sort of).
Like, come on, what more do I have to do, guys?
I don't know if something's changed with the site algorithm but things seem to get hardly any feedback now, and most stories in the feature bar barely have a hundred likes.

I'm not surprised that it didn't do well, because it's not a new story. It's an old story that I unpublished years ago, and have since rewritten and republished. So it didn't appear in new stories, wasn't shown as a new story to my followers, and didn't have a shot at the feature box. That's all understandable. What did surprise me is that I wrote a blog to inform everyone that the story was back, but that it got maybe ten additional likes and no comments from it. When you consider that I have over seven hundred followers, that's really bad.
From what I've seen a lot of people just don't read blogs.
