Update on 'The Broken Bond'

Hey guys! I'm just throwing this together so as to give the followers of this story an update on it.

Chapter 3, '(Honesty) - The Broken Life,' is partially written already. I know it feels like it's time for the next update, but with college beginning to start up these past two weeks, my time has been stretched thin. That's not to say I've spent no time on this story, or writing, but that is why I'm telling you this now.

I've gotten far enough into this story that I feel like I've assured longtime followers that this isn't one I plan on abandoning. If you weren't convinced before, then this is me telling you that now. However, like I've said before there are three fics on Fanfiction.net that I was in the middle of, which I put on hold to start this.

From here on out, I'm going to return to my cycle of writing a chapter for each of those, and then this one - mind you, that includes an entire chapter and not a "section" of a chapter like the second one was. Which, by the way, I'm aiming not to happen with the third chapter (it doesn't require nearly as much attention as the conversation with Twilight and Starlight did), but I've underestimated myself with this stuff many times before.

So yes, if you don't see an update for me in the next week or two, that's what I'm doing. But I'll make another blog post when I'm returning to writing chapter 3.

In other news, off on the side I've been going back to previous chapters with fellow Writer in Arms, JD McGregor. I've been helping him with his own Starlight fic 'Rebuilding' (which I highly recommend), while he's been assisting me with tightening the winded prose of this story into something much more well-written. The first chapter has already been refined! It's still exactly the same plot-wise, mind you - it just has better pacing and prose.
