So, would these RGRE (Reverse Gender Roles Equestria) mares think of a manly man? Would they have a sigh of relief to be with a stallion, who isn't a wimp?

The rgre is about stallions acting and having the traditional social roles equivalent to what our society attributes to women. A manly man would seem to them like a manly woman to us. Some men would find that attractive/ positive but others would probably not like it.

Depends on wether or not the manly man has the skills to qualify as "manly", or if he just makes a claim. If the ponies have powerlevels close to those of our world, i doubt theyd object.

But if the ponies are bigger and/or stronger than humans anyway, theyd probably be amused by that weakling, trying to act tough.

This could also work in stories, without the gender thing, and just with size difference
