They go by so fast. I don't have a very good memory most of the time, and there are advantages and disadvantages to that. On the one hoof, I can experience the same stories, shows, books, so forth over and over again, with just enough of the details gone that it feels like a new experience. On the other hoof, everything just goes by so fast. Fireworks seem to be on the TV all the time, and I could swear they were all just talking about how they based their personal enjoyment of 2016 upon the number of celebrities who passed away.
Well...anyway. It's an introspective night. I have a novel I want to get back to writing, but there's always so much I want to say in fics, and I'm still brimming with ideas. So I wonder where I'll be tomorrow. I guess I'll watch the rest of the Pony marathon, switch over thereafter to the annual Twilight Zone party, and think on.
