Kicking off the year with a bang - Updates and changes

What's up, my fellow paladins?

2017 was quite the year for all of us. New MLP seasons, an enjoyable movie, and the dawn of new and exciting content from fellow writers here on the site. Though I was not the most active for a good part of the year, I am infinitely grateful for all of you who stuck around for content I did produce. I wouldn't have come along as far as I did without your continued support. As 2018 arrives, so too does new opportunities and changes.

So let's begin with what's going to be the biggest change: tags for Change of Heart: The shadow of hatred.

With the release of the next chapter, the following tags will be added: [Dark] [Mature] [Violence] [Profanity] [Death]

Tags removed: [Romance]

For the sake of spoilers, I won't reveal why I've decided to include these tags. However, you all deserve to know why I'm adding them now. The simplest explanation is that the story started out one way, evolved over the course of production, and upon reflecting upon the direction, turns out to be an inevitable decision. To respect those who have been with the story from the beginning and are uncomfortable with some of these changes, please not that not all chapters will incorporate these elements and I shall add warnings at the beginning of the chapter for those who want to avoid some of those elements and move ahead. Still working on ways to help accommodate those readers while avoiding spoilers, but it will be done to satisfy both sides of the equation.

Updated: So upon adding the tags, I noticed I had one tag too many, so I decided to remove the Romance tag. There are romance elements to be found, but the other tags hold a more prominent theme for reasons.

The next update will be the other reason many of you stuck around: Chrysalis and her shenanigans.

I'm still in the process of deciding how I want to proceed, but I would love to continue writing the series many of you love so much. There were many brilliant ideas for possible sequels mentioned in Chrysalis' First Sleepover, which received fantastic reception. If you have additional ideas for sequels you may want to see, feel free to post them here.

Beyond that, other fics may pop up here or there to give you all something delicious to chew on, whether you're waiting for my other stories to update or intrigued to see what else I can do.

But again, thank you lovely readers for sticking around and being the reason I write on this site. Yes, I know this is cheesy to say, but you would be surprised how much work and love goes into each piece of content I produce, and knowing you guys are out there, patiently waiting for something new, gives me that drive to give you my best. So continue staying beautiful and stay tuned for new stuff coming 2018.
