Gambit Prawn

Here, I've found a couple of stories I had always been searching for. I hope to provide the same to at least one other person.

    Short-hopefully not vain-update

    Hi.

My schedule has slipped more than normal, chaotic as it already is. I partially psyched myself out with the big reunion between Diane and Aron/Alice. There's so much to potentially cover that I'm worried I'll miss something. I considered writing an intermediary chapter from Alibi's perspective, but that felt overly constraining to attempt.

    Next Update

The next chapter is ready to go shortly.

As a consequence of personal growth I now have all of the bad habits and none of the excuses for the timetable. What I can say is that I've been looking forward to writing some of the upcoming scenes for years. This is a strange thing I do—that I still don't believe when I explain it to myself. Thank you all who are crazy enough to stick with me!

I'll cut to the case for this one. After all, you don't not read this blog to hear self-deprecating rambling.

For the first point, I had intended a camp for the foals for quite a long time. The adults' activities was just a bonus gag.

If I had the energy to write, I would be forging ahead. I've cleared a lot of my mental obstacles, but hard work is still just that. Anyway, let's see if I can make anything of this director's cut. I feel like there should be a generic term for the sort of content that content creators put out to tread water, whereas all their followers have gathered because of a particular type of content that

So I've got my piece of a crumb of a grain of a drop of internet "fame" and I want to milk it for all it's worth. As far as blogging goes, I think there's only one real selling point: I won't make any demands. No Patreon to shill, no begging for subscriptions, follows what have you.

Update 12/31/17 and Continuity · 11:06pm Dec 31st, 2017

Hi all!

As you can probably tell, I've not updated at my usual clip.

I decided that in order to give Borrowed Time my best effort, I needed to make sure I kept my continuity together. As such, I've once more resigned myself to the challenge of rereading my own fic :unsuresweetie:

It's certainly a humbling experience, but at the same time I can see how I've improved as a writer.

Anyway, the reason I wanted to post this is to point out a few continuity errors I've spotted. These should be fixed sometime this week.

Most notably, the background pony known as Clever Theorem had already been named once before as Proof Solver. I've used the former name more so I'll probably delete any instances of Proof Solver.

Secondly, the background pony known as Little Pinion was wrongly specified as an earth pony in his first appearance. He is now a unicorn.

I also may have given two inconsistent descriptions of Squirt's bedroom.

These are admittedly minor issues, but I figure I might as well hold myself accountable for these mistakes rather than make ninja edits.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! As always, I will patiently await your next chapter.

We’re fine with you doing this, if it makes the story better take as much time as you need.

That's cool. You fix up your story to your specifications. We can all wait for the next chapter.

Happy new year, and thank you for your fic. I can safely say it's one of the best I've read on this site :)
Also, take as much time as you need to write and improve it, just don't forget to make a blog post from time to time, it's reassuring ^^

Happy new year from germany.

Happy New Year! Love the story! Thank you!
