Fame and Misfortune topic: what would happen if the Flawless Song DID work? · 5:15pm Dec 28th, 2017
I know everyone gives the Fame and Misfortune Episode a lot of Flak and most obviously the Flawless Song in which it had no effect on the Rabid Townsponies.
but answer me this question: What would happen if the Flawless Song DID work?
let me know down in the comments what do you think if it did.
Reason why it could of worked was based on this scene right here:
Take a closer look at Sparkler/Amethyst Star: she's showing a Genuine Smile, which means she understands the song.
i think if the song did work the ponies would've apologized to all of the main six and ask for forgiveness which the main six would give and then the ponies would go their own way while keeping the lessons from the book in their hearts.

I personally liked the "Fame and Misfortune" episode. I get it, people are complaining about it because a few of the ponies mirrored the more obnoxious people in this fandom such as the one who said, "I liked Twilight more before she got wings." I actually found that hilarious and at the same time I find it funny that people are so bothered by it. The part I like is that Toolaroola and Coconut Creme learned lessons from the book.
And let's not forget about Starlight having to make copies of a "certain manifesto" back in the day using her magic.....a direct reference to the "Communist Manifesto" by Karl Marx.

Fun Fact: Sparkler/Amethyst Star was the head organizer of Ponyville before Twilight Sparkle moved to Ponyville, so naturally, she is smiling because she understands the song :)

interesting enough, those two appeared in a pervious Generation of MLP. and heck, Toolaroola was actually a main character in G3.5!

I think if the "Flawless" song did work, either:
1) Because Sparkler/Amethyst Star genuinely understood the song, she would explain to the rest of the ponies about the fact that nobody is perfect, (even celebrities in their case), the ponies would agree and the Mane Six would continue to publish the journal whilst the fans continue to learn from it.
OR:
2) The ponies would have enough common sense to just allow each other to freely express their opinions, understand that what the ponies wrote in the journal were actual lessons that they learned and just agree to disagree, if they must.
