In this instance, music, conversation, and various other distractions for the sake of my sanity mixed with lots of typey type type. In answer to your other comment, I'll hit you with a PM soon, although I can't promise it'll have much substance. When I said I agreed with 'nearly everything' in that comment before I think there were literally two or three things I had a dispute with out of a list of about ten, one was a stylistic thing and the other I turned out to be wrong about after a google search. A little embarrassing.
