Hello everypony!
First off, news!
1. I plan to release another story coming up on Monday or Tuesday. It's a short one with no cuddling, but I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out.
2. We have the results of my CuddleFic Contest. However, the judges still need to work out a few things before posting the results; still, I hope to release the results over the weekend, and failing that certainly next week!
Now, I also wanted to state openly that I've decided to begin some light monitoring of the comment boxes in my story. I've always followed this policy when circumstances demanded it (I even threatened to block anyone that joked about the Holocaust on General George S. Dragon), but not as a general rule. However, earlier this week I got into a pretty nasty comment dispute with a guy who came onto my Spike story just to dump on me and some of my previous stories.
Naturally, having grown up deep in Midwest Suburbia, where politeness at all times is mandatory, I usually am pretty accommodating to people. However, I decided to spit some fire on this one and things deteriorated- I even had to disengage. I also almost got into another fight on my Luna/Celestia story but then just decided to ignore it.
Going back over the Spike story today I was like, "Y'know, that guy was kind of a jerk, and I was kind of a jerk, and I don't like how that went down. Miss me with that." So, I deleted most of the chain.
I hate deleting anything because it makes me feel like a government censor. That's part of the reason I'm writing this blog post, to be fully transparent about it. Here is my guarantee: I well never delete a topical, respectful comment. Ever. But, if you're being aggressively terrible, or I was aggressively terrible, I reserve the right to delete it in the future. Sound fair? Alrighty. Sorry to be an authoritarian. 
Hey man, its cool. Some people show up to ruin your day just because they had a bad one or are just shitty people. Learn to roll with the punches, keep on fighting is what I say. Hope you have a better day, or night really, after something like that.

Some people are just jerks. Best to ignore them. Now, tell us about the contest! I’m tired of staring at my ceiling wondering how I’ll place!

as long as I'm the winneras long as you have fun. :PThere's no rush, I'm sure your really busy with the Christmas season coming up. And thank you so much for organizing this in the first place, it was a blast to participate.
