Deathstroking Update: Who Is Slade Wilson? · 8:28pm Nov 25th, 2017

Hey, guys, it's me again. Well, it seems as though Deathstroking is still going strong, much to a certain someone's chagrin I'm sure. But, like I said, he'll get his eventually, and I hope I'm there to see it. But, either way, thanks to the help of Majin, I'm finally free of the pain, doubt, and hopelessness he's had me under these past few weeks since his return. His attacks on me now become fuel for my writing, as does your continued support through this story.

Now then, I'd like to talk about Slade Wilson's role now that he's marooned in Equestria for the rest of his life, however long that might be. As Slade Wilson, he starts up Spark Enterprises, which is pretty much a discount Wayne Enterprises, and which gets the Traditionalists VERY unhappy, along with Equestrians First (who may actually be the main threat of the sequel). As for Deathstroke, he's essentially the Princesses' enforcer, their knight in shining armor now that the Mane 6 have been whittled down to five. Unlike the Mane 6 however, he is an anti-hero, unafraid to take the lives of his enemies.

However, as time progresses, a certain Amadeus Blueblood begins to think there's something funny about Slade Wilson. As far as records go, it's almost as if he stepped out of thin air, and oddly enough, he appeared mere days before the first confirmed sighting of Deathstroke, who, being a noble hell-bent on taking over Equestria knows quite a few assassins, never even heard of. And Amadeus Blueblood isn't one to believe in coincidences, if you catch my drift.

So, thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

good to know...the most I knew was the slade from teen titans :twilightsheepish:

So is Spark Enterprises a tribute to our poor late Book Princess?

I still fel this entire ordeal is a massive ooc moment for the canon Deathstroke. I've given you my reasons so far. By separating the identities of Slade and Deathstroke, to the point of making the reveal a plot point, it only adds up to making the character the same only in name.

I know your justification for all of this is making this an alternate version, but being that the case, I ask again, why not make Slade a native Equestrian? So far, him being from another earth has played no real influence on the plot, (Blue Blood suspicious could come from anywhere). Slade brushes it off as just something he will accept, which is another heavy ooc moment, as Deathstroke's nature is to never take things any other way than his, hence why he left the military to become a mercenary.

But I guess at this point I'll have to accept this thing happening. As much as I may disagree with how it's being handled, I'm happy it's working for you. And to prove it, I offer to review it and I promise it won't be a comparison with canon (which I already did anyways), but actual sound and constructive criticism.

Do it man DO IT
