Good news everyone!
I'm almost out of uni this semester (Java can suck it) and I'll be back in fully writing force soon. But I still feel bad about keeping you guys waiting for so long. So, accept this gift: previews of the upcoming chapters of Club Harmony and Only Human.
Preview of Club Harmony - Chapter 2 - Mareinizer:

Octavia moaned in ecstasy as she lay flat on the towel-covered board, a goofy smile plastered across her face.
“Oh, Celestia! That’s feels amazing,” she moaned.
“Of course it does, darling. You’ve needed this more than anypony,” said Rarity, who was lying on the board next to her. “These are the finest masseuses in all of Equestria. Especially this fine gentlecolt,” she said, gesturing to the stallion working on her back.
“It’s no trouble at all, ma’am,” said the stallion working on Rarity. “I’ve been doing this for a number of years.”
“Really?” asked Rarity. “I’d love to hear more about it over dinner—”
“Rarity!” shouted Twilight, who was sitting in the hot tub next to the massage tables. “You’ll have to excuse my friend,” she said to the stallion. “She can be a bit forward sometimes.”
“No problem, ma’am,” he chuckled, never taking his hooves of Rarity.
“Honestly, Twilight, you’re no fun,” pouted Rarity.
Octavia continued to moan as her masseuse worked her magic. “Thank you again, girls. You have no idea how badly I’ve needed this.”
“I think we have a vague idea,” said Rarity. “You’ve opened up a rather large establishment, and in just over a week it’s become the talk of the town. Even ponies from Canterlot are talking about Club Harmony. It must be stressful.”
Octavia only moaned in response.
“I went through a similar situation when I opened Carousel Boutique,” continued Rarity. “It’s quite a daunting task opening up a new business... especially when you have to do most of the heavy lifting,” she said, giving Octavia a knowing smile.
Octavia returned a confused look. “I beg your pardon?”
Rarity cleared her throat with a cough. “Vinyl, dear.”
“Oh, right.” Octavia sank further into the table as the massage continued. “I admit, working with Vinyl is akin to working with goldfish suffering from ADHD, but she’s still my friend and business partner.”
Twilight moved herself around the tub so that she was closest to Octavia. “Speaking of which, there’s something that Rarity and I have been meaning to ask you.”
Octavia glanced up at the purple unicorn. “Yes?” she asked with trepidation.
“Well... we’re sure that Vinyl Scratch is a very nice pony. But it’s, well...”
Octavia raised her head towards Twilight. “It’s what?”
“We’re just curious, dear,” interjected Rarity. “You have to admit, it’s rather... unorthodox that a classical musician would be such dear friends with DJ.”
The grey pony returned a blank expression. “And?”
“Well... we were just wondering how the two of you became friends. I’m sure it’s a lovely story,” said Rarity with a supportive smile.
“You make it sound romantic,” said Octavia, rolling her eyes. “Even if Vinyl and I were together, the last thing I would call it would be ‘romantic.’”
Rarity and Twilight shared a confused expression.
“What do you mean by that?” asked Twilight.
“Let’s just say our story isn’t as ‘lovely’ as you might think. And if it’s all right with you girls, I’d rather not go into detail. All you need to know is that Vinyl and I are both hardworking ponies who just so happen to be friends. It doesn’t matter what their tastes are or how unprofessional they can be... or how hard they kick you in bed,” she muttered, looking away.
Twilight and Rarity’s widened in shock.
“Excuse me, darling, but did you just say that you and Vinyl share a bed?” whispered Rarity.
Octavia’s eyes widened, almost as though she had just realized what she had said.
“It’s not like that! We couldn’t afford to live on our own or to have a two-bedroom apartment, so we have to share the one bedroom we have.”
“Couldn’t you have just flipped a bit?” asked Twilight.
“We did... but I dropped it and it bounced out the window. Neither of us felt like going down to get it so we just agreed to share the bed.”
Rarity started to snicker. “So that’s where the rumors are coming from.”
As Twilight and Rarity shared a giggle, Octavia blushed and looked away. Suddenly her massage didn’t feel as pleasant as before.
And Only Human - Chapter 3 - Viral Marketing (Not Yet Edited):
Oddly enough, the video started out in black and white. Floating through what looked like space were various sketches from Lyra’s Only Human Bible. They floated towards the screen as eerie music played over them. Coming on camera from the right, was Lyra, walking on her hind legs, wearing a blazer and sporting a confident smile while holding an unlit cigarette in her right hoof.
“You’re about to enter a world of opposable thumbs, motorized vehicles, and where nudity is taboo,” she said looking directly into the camera. “A world of flawed creatures with great dreams. A world without magic. A world with unlimited possibilities.”
After the last sentence, Lyra and her sketches faded away, with an (royalty free) image of a door taking their place.
“You open this door with your new ‘hands’ and step into the world of... Only Human.”
As the door opened, the image of Lyra’s logo was formed out of several shards that came from off-screen.
I can't wait for you guys to see what's coming!
I still can't believe your story got onto EqD and mine didn't...

Whoa whoa HOLD ON THERE a second! Not only is "Only Human" finally getting a new release, but Club Harmony isn't dead? O.O

425635 It's a bit of a hassle some times, and I'm a bit guilty for trying to maximize what little fic read time I come across, so I tend to read and continue on to a new story in my backlog or whatever catches my eye that day. Came across Club harmony while back when I was searching for non-ship fics with Vinyl and yours popped up. Good read but only one chapter which left me a bit dry without a 2nd chapter to go on.
I don't get too attached to stories with one chapter usually. It was nice but still only one chapter; I follow fics with at least 3+ if they were entertaining enough. Not to mention they need to have written at least one other story I liked before for me to hit that follow button; "Club Harmony", and now "Only Human" which had a really well done Lyra, and sort of parodying the show's creation in a way as to how Lauren Faust sort of did; trying to pitch her show ideas and getting rejected. Sure that probably isn't how you want people to view it but it sorta feels that way.
One question though... Will Bon Bon be hooking up romantically within the next chapter or two? Seems you have their relationship flying a bit quickly. Someone is bound to get hurt investing feelings into another so fast. Good to see you haven't given up on CH, I'l take which ever comes first plz <3

Hey, pre-reader here (the one who passed Only Human, natch). I haven't read your story, but from a quick peek into the response archives, it looks like all that's holding it up is a few grammatical issues (unless you refer to a different story submitted before I became a pre-reader). There are a few places (like Ponychan or the EqD Rejects group here on FiMFic) where you could try to find some editing help, if you're still determined to try to get on the blog.
Thought I'd say something as long as I was here.
...aaaand I just read the entire post in the voice of Professor Farnsworth because of the first line.
