Sonic Forces: Resistance is Magic Update · 9:31pm Oct 29th, 2017
I now have the entire story plotted down and the first chapter written and currently in the middle of being edited. Chapters are gonna be level based, and some may feature more than one level for the sake of convenience and pacing. It will be set entirely in Sonic's world (whatever it's called now) except for the beginning.
I'm going to be uploading the first chapter tomorrow, but then I'm gonna wait until the game is released next week to upload the next chapter. Don't worry, I'm not gonna spoil anything. That's why I'm waiting in the first place.
But I'm gonna say this, the biggest change I'm making from the game is Tails. I didn't like how he was portrayed in the game and so he'll be more in line with his Adventure self. Plus, it will give a unique dynamic to his team: including himself, Classic Sonic and Spike.
The Avatar character will be the red wolf from the trailers, Buddy nicknamed Rookie. Team stages are now gonna involve Sonic, Buddy and Rainbow Dash. The ponies will be with the Resistance and will interact with the Sonic heroes whether in the HQ or on the frontlines.
I can't reveal anything else out of fear of spoiling, so I'll just end it here. This isn't gonna be a 1:1 novelization of Forces with ponies added (since that's against site rules after all). There will be some things changed/added including interactions.
