The best part of the Smash Direct today:
Nintendo pulled an Infinity War and killed everyone, except Kirby (because Sakurai favoritism).
Lifelight is the best Smash theme as of today.
Also, RIP Shadow, Isaac, Geno, Rex, Spring-Man, Banjo-Kazooie and Decidueye fans. We got benched for a potted plant. It’s a good joke character, but after the Assist Trophy gut-punches it was a bittersweet reveal. Ken was a good choice since he’s the original Echo Fighter, and I’m meh on Incineroar.

However, I agree with you that Nintendo pulled an Infinity War on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Now for the next 5 DLC characters, my first guess for the first DLC character would be... Infinite. I'll keep my fingers cross if Infinite is a DLC character.

I just don’t know why they didn’t show him as an assist trophy like the others in the last couple directs. It’s like it they were trying to get people’s hope up.
But yeah this was easily the best part of the direct. Also Sonic died trying to save Pikachu made me sad so close yet so far.
