    Chapter Update

Sorry for that earlier. I'm writing on mobile and accidentally hit the publish button on the new chapter, but now it's actually done. AND featuring Rarity and Aria. Not a combo you see often.

    Tamago: Character Check, Part 1

So, LyraAlluse was interested in the characters of my characters of my original Story, so here I am. Keep in mind that I will not hold the spoilers, except it's something really big.

Let's start with whom I consider the main character, the young punk girl with the long purple pony tail from Salem, Massachusetts ,

    Murasaki Kabuto.

    I'm so goddamn nervous

I recently applied to the Deggendorf Institute of Technology to make my bachelor in media technology. Sound design, graphics, 3D animation, the whole shebang.

Today I was invited to a presentation on what we can expect. Never in my life was I so excited, yet afraid at the same time. This is it. This is what I need to conquer to be a step closer to my dream of my own series.

I noticed something · 10:54am Oct 29th, 2017

The battles by themselves are boring. I can write the battle as interesting as I want,it just doesn't compare to thr battles from the anime. Why?

Because we don't know these Pokémon. In the Anime, the battles of the leagues hold weight, because we have been with Ash's team for the entire series. They have personalities, something that I can't really write in this format. And there is something at stake, which I can't say for my story.

My solution? I want to imbue the fights with personal conflict. Each character should have a reason for wanting to win, like Fluttershy wanting to prove herself, Rarity not disappointing someone who has done much to help her, Twilight wanting to prove she can be the hero everybody expects her to be from now on.

It might be a challenge, but I think I can do it.

What do you think about that?

Hit the nail on the head. Having a purpose for victory such as; protecting someone or proving yourself, especially from the characters stand point really gets us behind the character we want to root for. Battling for the heck of it, sometimes, can be boring. But, if it’s interesting and keep us entertained then it will be worth the read or watch.

Conviction... Go for it
