A pony's ghost tale, part three · 8:15pm Oct 28th, 2017

Dream Valley, the Ponyland Federation, present Day;

"Gee, Wind Whistler... are you sure this is such a g-good idea?" Shady asked nervously, as the two trotted into the creepy old haunted house, pushing open the rotting door, and stepping into the creepy foyer. The old floor seemed to creak under their every hoof step, and a moaning and sighing wind seemed to moan and sigh through the house, even though there was no wind blowing. This was the last place in the world Shady wanted to be, and the pink earth pony with the sunglasses cutie mark was already regretting letting Wind Whistler drag her along on this adventure. "I'd rather just go home, and hide under the bed!"

"Oh, would you please stop your incessant protests, Shady? They are not going to dissuade me from my goal!" The Pink Pegasus snapped back. "The mystery of this old haunted house in Dream Valley has long perplexed me, and I mean to get to the bottom of all the mysterious happening that have been reported here!"

The pair searched around through the creaky old estate, finding rooms filled with dusty old furniture, cracked mirrors, and peeling wallpaper. It was as if nobody had lived here in many, many years... and a chill that seemed to permeate the whole mansion presented a fairly good argument as to why it had been abandoned.

"The ponies of Dream Valley have long held an irrational fear of this old rotting structure, and I'm determined to get to the bottom of the cause." The blue Pegasus explained. "Is it some band of trolls or goblins trying to cover up their nefarious activities? Or is some evil wizard faking a haunting to scare off any ponies so he can use this place as his lair? It may actually be the spirits of the deceased out here, but I want to rule out all other possibilities."

"I'd rather just rule out being here, period." Shady's ears suddenly perked up. "Wait, what are those creepy sounds I hear?"

Suddenly, the two mares heard the sounds of galloping hooves from the floor above, as if two ponies were dancing, as well as the sound of a piano playing itself in the nearby living room. The two mares began to shake in fear, as the sounds of two sets of hooves came running down the stairs from the floor above, and another two sets came racing in from the living room.

"Aieeee, it's the ghosts!" Shady screamed, the hairs of her mane standing on end. "they're coming for us!"

"Okay, coming here was a major error!" Windy cried out, as she and Shady ran towards the door. "Hurry, let us abscond to Dream Castle, at once!"

The two ponies raced for the two, where they collided with the running forms of Coco Pommel, Thunderlane, Puzzlemint, and Shenanigans. An evil laugh echoed through the house, and the six ponies all crashed into each other, and collapsed into a giant pile near the door.

"Foolish ponies! My power transcends the boundaries of time!" A loud voice called out. "You'll be trapped here, forever!"
