Substitute - Now available in e-book format (pdf) again · 7:09am Oct 27th, 2017
Hey all.
I just wanted to let you know that I made an e-book version of this story available. And by e-book, I mean a pdf that you can download. Fimfiction has a built-in epub thingy but it doesn't look as nice and, more importantly, it loses a lot of the formatting (especially italics, which you readers of Substitute may know is of some significance).
I think that I previously had another pdf version of this story available but, actually, I'm not so sure. Nonetheless, I said at the end of August that I wanted to get this going and it took me quite some time to get around to it. I've spent the past week combing through Substitute and fixing various errors and otherwise improving the language in the story (which, if I'm to be honest, was not on the same par as Feedback was). Overall, I'm now quite pleased with the the writing where I wasn't as pleased before. That's a definite plus!
It might interest the reader to know that the story is about 3000 words shorter after these edits. 118010 -> 114872. Pretty much all chapters had ~200 words cut out of them.
